  • Safe images

The following images I did for Forte Marketing and Design, (the Wollongong council’s graphic design department). They are posters for safety in the work place. Click on the images for a larger view.

  • Some random stuff…

Here are a couple of random pics I found whilst cleaning up some files. The first is a portrait of good friend and her dog, (Lisa and Jessie), it was a birthday present. The second is another portrait, but this is of my Grandmother in law,  Nan Crehan. It was to be added to her 80th birthday invitation.

  • Quick job, late entry

Here’s a  logo job I did back in September 2005, but I forgot to add to this Blog. ‘Operation Zip Zip’ is a boot camp style exercise program … … … well, that’s what I was told, I’m not going to join up just to find out for sure.

  • Lost muse

Last fortnight my Grandmother passed away. She was a major influence in my life, so much so that I had created a cartoon series based around her. I am continuing to develop “Bionic Gran” in her dedication.

  • Preserving illustration

Christmas is almost upon us and my wife and I are busy making chutneys and jams for presents. Of course to add that extra personal touch, I had to create our own label …

  • Terminal Boredom

I’m not usually one to sketch strangers and passers by, but when you’re stuck in a tiny airport in Tasmania where there is no shopping to do and your DS is not charged, this is the result.

  • More late night roughs

Here are a few concept sketches I did at about 3 am this morning. They are for a character from a comic strip that I will be posting very soon.

  • Clean up your act!

Finally completed. This sixteen page comic was adapted from a play written and performed by Michael Connar and friends. Michael works for Wollongong council at the Botanic gardens. He has written and performed in many environmental themed plays. This comic will act as an added learning tool for school children. After watching a live performance of the play, students can then read, colour (a black and white version will be supplied), or even make their own production for their school.

  • The old school days

Soon I will be adding a comic that I’ve been working on for Wollongong Botanic gardens, but for now, here is a logo that was originally designed by a child and redeveloped for business use by me. It is to be use in conjunction with a program to help children move from Preschool to Infants.

  • H.O.P.E  Gallery

HOPE is a program run by the Red Cross which offers information and advice to heroine addicts and their families. They are currently putting together a text book that talks about the effects of drug addiction and some first aid information. I was lucky enough to be asked to supply illustrations for the book, and here is a selection ….. (click on the images for a better view)
