  • As seen on ….

    Well I managed to get my old 1999 short film, “Kitty Littered” into some form of workable format and sent it to Channel Frederator. Frederator is a web based animation podcast. Each week they gather together several animated shorts and post them for the world to download and watch for free. I subscribed through iTunes for free.

    “Kitty Littered” was picked up straight away and is now playing on episode 76 of Channel Frederator! I also did a short interview which will be in the Frederator blog here.

    Check out Channel Frederator here

    Additional: I’ve updated my resume.

  • Interested in seeing more stuff?

    Just a quick note to let you know that I also have a Deviant Art web site. I post a lot of sketches and trade pieces there that are not work related, (so they do not make it on this blog). If you would like to see some more of my artwork, please go to http://e4animaton.deviantart.com

  • Drawing lessons now available

    I now offer drawing lessons for all ages. They will take place at my home and I will try to suit your needs with availability, (freelance work deadlines pending).

    The lessons will focus on a basis of animation, (that is construction of characters and models), rather than free form ‘doodling’ that most Cartoonist use. My background is in animation, a fact that I’m proud of, and therefore wish to pass on the correct techniques of drawing, not just the quick fix methods found in store bought drawing books.

    An initial meeting will take place before the first lesson. This is where I will be looking at examples of the student’s level of ability, asking about interests and what they are hoping to get out of the experience. From this information I will be able to plan out future lessons that will be catered to each individual.

    Lessons could cover the areas;

    * Beginners drawing class

    * Drawing existing characters, (Fan art)

    * Anime / Manga

    * Development of student’s characters

    * Comics

    * Beginner animation class

    I”m offering two options for the one hour long lessons;

    Option 1: $25 per hour. There is the possibility that there will be up to three students attending this session.

    Option 2: $50 per hour. This is a one on one lesson. I will focus all of my time on the student.
