  • Sixty 40 air date!

One of the  jobs that I’ve been working on for Sixty 40 is their “Edugandapanda show”, a series of short 30 second cartoons.

Another job I worked on at Sixty 40 is the opening titles to Sony BMG’s new show “Music Jungle”. The titles incorporate cardboard cut out animation, 2d animation, (done by yours truly), 3d animation AND puppetry! That’s in the opening titles alone … prepare to be gobsmacked.

Miraculously, these two jobs have been fused into one. The Edugandapanda show will be playing as part of Music Jungle! The first episode airs on March 31 at 10:30am on channel nine, (Australia), and then every following Saturday at the same time.

  • Talented and Unemployed

There are hundreds of topical drawing groups on the net. Most are impossible to join. So after much complaining and discussion with some fellow freelancers, I have started my own. It is called “Talented and Unemployed” here

The first topic is Dare Devil and submissions are due in by the end of April 2007. Members can create in any medium be it sketch, painting or sculpture as long as it is within the realm of the topic. Then they email in a jpeg, (or other image file) which is then posted for the world to see. Talented and Unemployed will encourage other members and the public to comment on the pieces and discuss techniques.

If you are interested in joining Talented and Unemployed, simply send an email of interest, along with a link to your web site, (if you have one), to talentedunemployed@gmail.com

  • Pug fan birthday fun!

A friend of mine just had a birthday and she is a huge pug fanatic. Here is a birthday card I made featuring Charlette her pug.

  • Joker card

Harley Quinn, one of the zaniest, (and cutest) Batman villains. This was a birthday gift for a friend.

  • Kitty Littered

This is a short film I did WAY back in 1999 whilst working at Filmgraphics. Well I’ve finally gotten around to putting it on YouTube here.

Below is a collection of screen shots and a poster.

  • Sonic style

I’ve been a secret admirer of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise for a long time, but due to loyalties to Nintendo, I’ve given it a wide birth. But now that Sonic has appeared and is going to appear on several Nintendo formats, I decided to publish my work.

I designed about ten different animals in the Sonic style, chose my favourites and produced this image. I’d like to hear what hardcore Sonic fans have to say…
