Month: May 2006

  • The best ever mini game

Okay it’s probably not the best mini game ever from the Mario Party franchise, but I like it.

  • A reminder of times past

These are some images I did for Sam to hang in our lounge room. They are reminders of our honeymoon in Italy 2000, (sigh), we were happy then (joking!). Now all I need to do is save enough money to have them printed, (A3) and framed.

  • Intermission

Well, due to a dwindling freelance income, jobs being cancelled or postponed and the ever looming mortgage, myself and “e for animation” are going on hiatus.

I do not want to lose any of my clients or jobs that are in production, (these will all be completed as normal). To those that I have promised to work on their projects, I will still do so, (although I may be limited to the amount I can take on).

I am planning to be free to work on other projects in the evenings, (maybe) and on weekends. I will continue to pitch my cartoon series ideas in the hopes of getting something picked up and moving to LA … some day.

My new employer is an online education company called “Redapple”. I will be part of a team of Flash animators whose job it is to supply animated shorts to compliment corresponding text. The work includes all years from kindergarden through to year twelve. This is a nine to five job, (yikes!), and is a two hour commute away in Chatswood, (double yikes!!).

I will continue to post blogs here and on my MySpace site http://www.myspace.com/e4animation when ever possible.
